Built via structured expert elicitation, it spans ELISA, LC-MS/PRM, and automation systems, aligned through an upper ontology based on the Allotrope Foundation Ontology (AFO) and OBI, extended for epistemic reasoning. A key concept, MASKED_BY, models silent failures where automation reports success while scientific validity is compromised. The framework enables cross-workflow failure and knowledge-gap queries not possible in conventional lab systems.
